This paper discusses two important concepts in muamalah jurisprudence, namely syirkah and ziro’ah, as forms of economic cooperation in accordance with sharia principles. Syirkah is a business partnership between two or more parties to obtain mutual benefits, while ziro’ah is a form of cooperation in the agricultural sector between landowners and cultivators with a profit-sharing system. This study aims to explain the meaning, legal basis, types, and wisdom of the application of syirkah and ziro’ah in the economic practices of Muslims. By understanding and applying these two concepts, it is hoped that society can carry out economic activities that are not only materially profitable, but also in accordance with Islamic teachings that emphasize justice, honesty, and social responsibility. This paper also emphasizes the importance of developing syirkah and ziro’ah in the context of a modern economy as an alternative to a fair, sustainable, and sharia-based economic system
