Abstract

This study aims to analyze the habituation of Islamic manners in activities at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) and its influence on the formation of children's polite character. The focus of this study is at TPA PIQ 3 Sangatta Utara, which has implemented the habituation of Islamic values ​​systematically in the teaching and learning process. The study used a literature study method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from documentation, observation, and various academic references related to character education and Islamic manners. The results of the study indicate that the habituation of manners such as greeting, praying before studying, respecting teachers, maintaining cleanliness, and speaking politely have a positive impact on the development of children's character. Children become more polite, disciplined, responsible, and empathetic, both in the TPA environment and at home. The role of teachers as role models, a consistent Islamic environment, and parental involvement are important factors in the success of this character formation. This study recommends strengthening the habituation program of Islamic manners in other non-formal educational institutions as an effective strategy in building the character of the younger generation who have noble morals according to Islamic teachings
