Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of the School Literacy Movement Program (GLS) in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Maestro Banjarmasin, particularly in class XI. The research method employed is descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The findings indicate that the implementation of GLS in PAI teaching at SMK Maestro Banjarmasin has been carried out well, although there are still some challenges and obstacles. Supporting factors for program implementation include teacher commitment, active student participation, and school management support. However, some constraints such as resource limitations and inadequate teacher training need to be addressed to enhance the effectiveness of this program. This research is expected to provide additional insights for stakeholders in improving the quality of PAI teaching through GLS implementation at SMK Maestro Banjarmasin
