Abstract

This Study explores the integration of Islamic educational science, philosophy, and modernism to develop a comprehensive framework for reforming Islamic education. In a rapidly evolving global context, Islamic education systems face the dual challenge of maintaining religious integrity while adapting to contemporary educational needs and methodologies. This study seeks to address this challenge by examining how educational science, philosophical thought, and modernist perspectives can be synthesized to enhance and innovate Islamic educational practices. The research employs a multi-disciplinary approach, combining qualitative methods such as literature review, content analysis, and case studies to investigate the intersections of these three domains. The study begins with an exploration of Islamic educational science, focusing on its principles, methodologies, and historical development. It then analyzes philosophical contributions, including epistemological and pedagogical insights, that can inform and transform educational practices. Finally, the role of modernism is examined, highlighting how contemporary theories and practices can be integrated with traditional Islamic frameworks to address current educational challenges. Key findings reveal that integrating educational science provides practical methodologies and tools that enhance the effectiveness of Islamic education. Philosophical insights offer critical perspectives on educational objectives, values, and methods, promoting a more reflective and adaptive approach. Modernist perspectives contribute innovative ideas and techniques that align with global educational standards while respecting Islamic traditions. The dissertation concludes that a comprehensive framework combining these elements can lead to significant improvements in Islamic education. By harmonizing educational science, philosophical inquiry, and modernist practices, this framework offers a pathway for reform that preserves core Islamic values while embracing necessary innovations. The findings underscore the importance of a balanced approach that respects religious teachings and meets the evolving needs of contemporary education, thereby fostering a more dynamic and effective Islamic educational environment
