Abstract

This study explores the intersection of educational science and philosophy within the context of religious cultural transformation in Islamic education. As societies evolve and encounter new challenges, there is a growing need to adapt educational practices to align with contemporary cultural and religious dynamics while maintaining foundational Islamic values. This research investigates how educational science and philosophical insights can facilitate this transformation and contribute to the development of a more relevant and effective Islamic education system. The research employs a qualitative approach, including a comprehensive literature review and content analysis of relevant educational and philosophical texts. Key themes explored include the role of educational science in modernizing Islamic education, the influence of philosophical thought on curriculum design, and the impact of cultural transformation on religious education practices. The study also examines how philosophical perspectives, such as rationalism and pragmatism, can be integrated with traditional Islamic pedagogical methods to address contemporary educational needs. Findings reveal that educational science provides essential tools for reforming Islamic education by introducing modern pedagogical strategies and methodologies that enhance learning outcomes. Philosophical approaches offer a framework for critically evaluating and adapting educational practices to better reflect the evolving cultural and religious context. The integration of these elements supports the development of an educational framework that is both innovative and rooted in Islamic traditions, fostering a more responsive and effective educational environment. The study concludes that a synergistic approach, combining educational science and philosophy with an understanding of cultural transformation, can significantly advance Islamic education. This approach enables the development of educational practices that not only respect and preserve religious values but also embrace contemporary cultural realities, thus offering a more holistic and dynamic educational experience
