Assistance in Arabic Language Learning through the Singing Method for Students of Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ittihad, Subang

This study aims to improve students’ interest in learning Arabic and their ability to understand and apply Arabic learning materials through singing. The activity was conducted from August 10 to 14, 2026, at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ittihad, Cidahu Village, involving fourth-grade students. The implementation employed a participatory mentoring approach consisting of identification, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. Initial data were obtained through observation and interviews, while the learning activities integrated singing, question-and-answer sessions, educational games, repetition, individual mentoring, and simple communicative practices. The results indicate positive responses and increased student engagement, reflected in their enthusiasm, active interaction, and ability to recall and apply the learning materials in simple communication. The novelty of this study lies in integrating singing with participatory mentoring and communicative practice as an enjoyable and applicable strategy for Arabic language learning. Thus, this approach can serve as an interactive and contextual alternative for Arabic language instruction in madrasah diniyah.
