Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the Generation Z era faces significant challenges along with rapid technological developments and social changes. Generation Z has different characteristics compared to previous generations. They tend to be more critical, individualistic, and accustomed to an instant lifestyle. One of the main problems in PAI learning is the lack of student interest in the material being taught. Many students feel that PAI learning is not interesting and does not suit their needs. Traditional teaching methods that are still widely used in schools are often unable to attract the attention of students who are used to technology and fast information. The aim of this research is to analyze these challenges in depth and formulate strategies that can be used to overcome these problems. This research aims to provide practical recommendations for educators and educational institutions in designing PAI curricula that are more interesting and relevant for Generation Z students
